Ristorante Shri Ganesh In Milano

It's always a certainty! All very tasty, the curries are one better than the other (lots of vegetarian options). It's best to take the tasting menu to try a bit of everything but one per person is a bit too much in my opinion. Service is slow at times but it makes up for it with the unbeatable quality/price ratio, it costs around €20-30 per person while eating super abundantly.

The flavors at this Indian restaurant were great, especially the Masala tea which was truly authentic and brought back memories of home! The staff was very hospitable. While it wasn't quite good with ambience which looks dated and dull green color, I'd definitely recommend it.

The restaurant has a small temple at the entrance and the proprietor started dinner service with an Aarti ( prayer) . The food was authentic & excellent. We had hot tandoori rotis, palak aloo, chicken tikka masala and dal! It was plenty and arrived steaming hot and spicy per our request. We wrapped up our meals with gulab jamuns fried in ghee. I wish i lived in Milan so that i could frequent this restaurant more often!

if I'm not mistaken it is one of the historic Indian restaurants in Milan, perhaps the first. Both the atmosphere and the environment recall the themes of traditional India. The prices are very competitive, the meat menu (which includes appetizer, main course, bread, rice and dessert) costs only 29 euros and is super abundant. the restaurant is always full on Saturday evenings, so service can be a little slow. Personally I found the garlic naan a little "garlicy" but these are purely personal tastes. A must try for those who love an Indian at excellent prices and quality.

Space food. Incredible service and venue. It feels like home

Last month, my friends and I stayed in this spectacular place, very welcoming, private and with very kind staff. We took the meat and vegetarian menus to try as many things as possible and personally, having taken the vegetable one, I can say that it is very, very good. At the end of the meal I had a delicious chocolate dessert while my friends tried the coconut one (which I recommend to true coconut fans because it is very intense). We will probably take less food next time because the portions on the menus are super generous although super delicious! I was slightly scared to try Indian again due to food poisoning from another place but this place was wonderful, I will definitely be back 💙

We decided to have the fixed meat menu (€28) and a vegetarian one in order to try different types of dishes and I must say that we were satisfied! The chicken in cashew sauce was definitely the best dish, I recommend trying it!! The staff is very kind and the prices are honest for the amount of food offered. We will definitely be back

In gita per Capodanno a Milano, ho cenato qui la sera di Capodanno, 31 dicembre 2023, con la mia compagna. Ci eravamo stati quattro anni fa, c'era piaciuto, anche se avevamo mangiato in ristoranti indiani migliori. Stavolta devo dire che mi ha davvero piacevolmente sorpreso. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile e la qualità dei cibi è decisamente migliorata. Erano buoni anche allora, ma le porzioni lasciavano desiderare, con tanta salsa e poca carne. Questa volta invece porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Abbiamo preso come antipasti un Samosa e un Papad Roll. Poi io del Cicken Tikka Masala con riso basmati, la mia compagna delle verdure in salsa di anacardi con riso basmati. Quindi pane Naan, tortino di cioccolata con panna calda e da bere acqua, birra indiana e un amaro alle mandorle. Conto 60 euro in due. Non regalato, ma tutto sommato onesto, poi per Milano e la notte di Capodanno. Assolutamente da tornarci. Raggiungibile con dieci minuti a piedi dalla fermata della metro di Porta Genova.

Posto fantastico e rimasto esattamente come 20 anni fa quando ci andai per la prima volta. Si mangia benissimo , posto accogliente . Non vedo l'ora di ritornare
