25/04/2024: We found this restaurant by chance while walking in the center of Scanno. Having read the wine shop sign, we entered, asking if it was possible to sit down for an aperitif before going to dinner (reservation already made in another restaurant). A very happy choice: we were warmly welcomed, as if we had always been customers. The two glasses of Ca'del Bosco were accompanied by bread with extra virgin olive oil, local cured meats and hand-cut ham as well as a ricotta with chopped pistachios. An explosion of flavors that enhanced the bubbles of the flutes. Orazio then accompanied us to the safe of his kingdom: the cellar where fine wines are stored, located next to a historic fountain, whose hypnotic noise eliminates the killer thoughts of life. Location as tidy and warm as the hospitality received. Absolutely reasonable price. A big round of applause.
