If you are looking for tasty food, great service and a beautiful view of the square, this is the restaurant to visit. We had pasta. The portions were very big. The pasta was home made, which made it even tastier. Had a lovely dinner!

I ordered lasagna, Fiorentina pizza, and cola. The taste was pretty average. Wow, but... when I looked at the bill, the seat fee was 3.5 euros per person. And a can of cola, which I thought would cost around 3-4 euros, ended up being 6 euros... Wow... I didn't even check the actual cola price on the menu, but it was a very expensive cola. The cost of food, cola + seat fee is the same amount.

A great find. Food was good, prices were very reasonable (especially given the location), and a wonderful spot for people watching and soaking up the atmosphere of Florence. Highly recommend!

We ate the pasta, it was prepared very nicely and served with a tasteful presentation. The tomato soup is very tasty, but thick, it may be a local specialty. Bottled house wine is 24 euros, delicious. The waiter knew Fradi. For the prices, take into account that you arrive next to the David statue.

There is an excellent view of the Piazza Signoria from this restaurant. the tomato and bread soup was very good. The pizzas were fine.

05/05/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in gruppo in questo meraviglioso ristorante. La location è semplicemente meravigliosa, nelle colline toscane. Il cibo era davvero gustoso e ottimo e il personale molto gentile e professionale. Certamente da riprovare!
31/03/2024: Veniamo spesso quando siamo in zona e ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo. Questa volta però c’è stata un po’ di delusione. Il pranzo di Pasqua non ci ha soddisfatto. Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma l’organizzazione non è’ stata il massimo, forse i coperti da servire erano troppi per lo stile del ristorante e per le aspettative rispetto al solito standard. Chi è’ arrivato prima ha mangiato dopo, chi è’ arrivato dopo ha mangiato prima. In generale 2 ore per mangiare 3 portate, sono davvero troppe. Poi troppa gente, troppa confusione e troppo rumore. Less is more, vale sempre.

24/05/2024: We decided to come here on the last day of our trip to Florence. We were not disappointed! Our waitress Francesca was so welcoming and friendly! Very accommodating with our childs pushchair tucking it away protectively in the corner. We both ordered a pizza and our child some pasta and it was hands down one of the best pizzas we had in Florence! Very nice wine and pasta for our child too. If we ever get the chance to come to Florence again we will be making a beeline for this restaurant with its delicious food! This restaurant should be very proud of it's excellent chefs and wait staff.
20/05/2024: Unbelievable Florentine steak. We ate here last year and brought friends back from America so they could experience it! The ambiance and atmosphere is absolutely perfect, the wait staff is the best quality in the area, and the food is to DIE for. We travel very often all around Italy, and La Bussola is an absolutely amazing restaurant!!
