Ristorante Marinerei In Portovenere

Having read the previous reviews which spoke very highly of the cuisine, we tried this restaurant, despite taking into account the previous reports of increased prices in the bill. In all honesty I can only speak highly of the welcoming and friendly owner, as well as the excellent quality cuisine. At the time of the bill, as already "alerted" by previous reviews, I checked the price of all the courses and found that for the scampi appetizer the price on the receipt was 30 euros, compared to the 20 euros indicated on the menu. Having reported the incident to the owner, I was refunded 10 euros with many apologies. Such a pity. Why ruin the good work done this way? It can happen once but if too many reviews report the same problem, the light bulb of legitimate doubt comes on.

Spaghetto su tutto, fresco, cotto a puntino, equilibrato e pure abbondante, gusto equilibrio tra cremina e consistenza. Locale piccolissimo, location carina soprattutto nei mesi estivi. Servizio buono, in boss è presente, cortese e gentile. Vale la pena riprovare per assaggiare altre cose interessanti. Ottimi consigli sul bere.

Undoubtedly good food and good service, I was shocked when the bill was presented, €120 for a starter and two first courses with a bottle of house wine, sorbet and coffee. The mistake is mine alone for not checking before ordering. It's a shame for us who are from La Spezia to have one less place where we can have lunch almost every day.
