The station is under constant renovation and nothing is happening there. Dirty, neglected. Every day you see crowds of tourists looking for the poorly marked stairs to the tunnel on the side of the station. A very poor showcase of a beautiful city.

Top, very well preserved and without the crowds of Florence

Another ill designed station. You buy a ticket, you enter platform number 1 and you don't know how to reach platform 4. The underway pass is to the left at one end of the station. There is only 1 such passage. There is no signage for that, but they do keep saying in English "Do not cross the railway lines, use the subway". As you approach the left end, there is a board for "sottopassigio". Again, it should be available in English as well. If they can spend the time and money to put larger boards saying not to cross the tracks directly, they can translate this passage sign and put it at several places, especially on platform 1 soon after you enter the station.

Beautiful, well-kept and hospitable medieval city

Beautifully picturesque, especially in the seasons where a unique city transforms... When there are comics it seems like entering another world... I prefer this city in winter because it offers so much beauty and every single street lights up with Christmas magic... There are restaurants and bars and supermarkets where you can't miss practically anything... What can I say since I moved, it has changed my life into joy and there are many cinemas...
