Ristorante Locanda dei Baroni In Poppi

We stayed for two nights in this beautiful inn, that's what it is, inn, where we had a wonderful time. The service is done by young, very kind and polite people. Excellent internal restaurant. I highly recommend and will definitely return

Easily accessible place because it is located on the main road that leads to the Camaldoli Hermitage, convenient due to the proximity of free parking (just a short walk away) and......for me it was a real surprise. And located next to another place where they still do dunks and where I have always been but, the Locanda dei Baroni exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The restaurant has a rustic/classic style with a warm and welcoming atmosphere also thanks to those who work there. The staff is very kind, patient and accommodating, always smiling. There are 3 rooms with tables for lunch/snack or dinner... one as soon as you enter, one on a mezzanine (very suggestive) and a room in a room next door, all well kept, cared for and clean. Obviously here it is worth taking the Schiacciata which is crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, not very high, easily digestible and...with plenty of filling as it should be.

Excellent quality food. Good appetizer, very tasty soft polenta, exquisite cuts, really good and plentiful cutting board, the Schiacciata was delicious. The desserts are normal, the coffees are good, the wine is decent and the coffee is excellent. Excellent value for money.

Die Zimmer sind einfach und sehr hellhörig. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, das Personal freundlich.

Pausa pranzo dopo la visita al monastero e all'eremo di Camaldoli. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, Ottima la schiaccia casentinesi con salumi e formaggi locali. Degni di nota i primi piatti . Buonissimi i dolci Consigliatissimo

Mangiato molto bene e servizio super efficiente

A due passi da monastero di Camaldoli, cucina veloce (anche troppo) e tempi di attesa brevi. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto di affettati e due primi, uno di questi “spaghetti con ragù di coniglio e tartufo” era buonissimo. Personale gentile e veloce, bravi. Lo consiglio !

In un contesto incantato dà l’impressione di luogo turistico ma in realtà è un ristorante di ottima qualità. Sicuramente se torniamo in zona, ci fermiamo di nuovo con piacere
