Welcoming staff, good service. Very broad menu, but with slightly dated and, in my opinion, too classic options. Good dishes, nothing sensational. Prices a little too high for the quality of the products and the presentation. My suggestion is to reduce the dishes on the menu and concentrate on improving the ones on offer. Another tip for the kitchen, tone it down when you argue with each other because you can hear everything outside, and it's not pleasant to have lunch or dinner while listening to other people's discussions.

Beautiful place, very ventilated and very good staff. Too bad about the long times for the courses... Recommended for first courses.

I was struck by the difference compared to other restaurants We ate well at fair prices Giovanni and his wife know how to welcome customers, I want to recognize this quality and thank them for making us feel at home I absolutely recommend it

Locale del centro storico, molto carino con alcuni tavoli vista mare. Abbiamo provato due primi, paccheri con melanzane e pesce spada, tagliolini con crema di scampi; il primo buonissimo ma la porzione non molto abbondante, il secondo buono ma non eccezionale, più abbondante. Prezzi nella media del posto. Condivido il pensiero di alcune recensioni passate, cibo buono ma tempi di attesa troppo lunghi per tutto.

Nice place with covered outdoor veranda in one of the main streets adjacent to the historic center. The tables are a little too close together and you have to be careful when moving. I was attracted by the menu but I must say that the first one I chose (pacchieri) didn't excite me too much, more than anything the flavor of the sauce. I probably got the wrong dish…

Abbiamo preso uno spaghetto alle vongole e delle fileja con nduja e cipolla. Piatti semplici con ingredienti freschi. Un po' lento il servizio ma il personale è molto gentile.

The restaurant is on the main road, in a well-ventilated area. The service is courteous but the waiting times are long and not justified as the place was semi-deserted. Spaghetti with clams not good: few clams and non-existent sauce. Better with seconds. High prices (cover €2.50 per skull) and not consistent with what is offered.

24/03/2024: Excellent ice cream shop, offering a complete service: small ice creams, ice creams for walking and many types of table ice cream (stuffed hazelnut and various flavours). The orgeat (typical Pizzitana granita with almonds) and the brioche are highly recommended. You can have a nice milkshake and a cake or truffle for home. There are also seats outside for summer afternoons and evenings. The place is very clean and the staff friendly. At Christmas there is the famous panettone, ice cream pandoro at a good price. One of the oldest ice cream parlors in Pizzo (the city of ice cream). Super recommended.

Ristorante dell'Agriturismo Ruralia

01/11/2023: Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und Hotelbesitzer. Ruhiger Ort mit schöner Aussicht zum Meer, leckerem Kaffee und Abendessen. Es herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre und wenn das Hotel nicht mehr voll ist, bekommt man ein Upgrade fürs Zimmer und Verpflegung, was wirklich zu schätzen ist. Es ist ein tierfreundliches Hotel, dort leben viele Katzen.
06/10/2023: Schöne kleine Bungalow Anlage in der Nähe von Tropea. Super Frühstück und Abendmenü, Appartements z.T. etwas in die Jahre gekommen - aber gut und praktisch eingerichtet. Toller Blick aufs Meer. Auto erforderlich, um zum Einkaufen oder nach Tropea (5km) zu kommen. Restaurants in S. Domenica überwiegend nur saisonal geöffnet, Supermärkte und Strände etwas außerhalb.
