I had smiles on my face throughout the entire meal. The fish soup (to be booked in advance) was truly exciting: generous portion, quality raw materials, prepared and worked truly with heart. Super attentive and friendly service, complete with bibs, wipes, shell plates and fish cleaning plates (which are immediately replaced when they fill up). Very rustic and convivial environment, as it should be for a tavern. I absolutely recommend it

SUPER RECOMMENDED! Don't fall for bad reviews. A very nice place, the chef and his wife are easy-going, polite people and leave nothing to chance. We ate a lot and the food was delicious My boyfriend and I had a 4-course mixed seafood starter and a clam sauté, a mixed seafood grill with potatoes and a pacchero with scampi. Abundant and very tasty servings. In particular the grilled one, we were surprised by the excellent cooking which left the fish tender and not dry. We will definitely be back.

Sono stato in questo posto spinto dalle ottime recensioni sulla zuppa di pesce... La zuppa va prenotata prima di arrivare al locale ma le recensione non mentono è la migliore zuppa di pesce che abbia mai sentito. Sicuramente non è un piatto economico ma considerate che è un piatto unico e risulta molto abbondante. Locale carino e molto famigliare consigliato.

My boyfriend has been coming to the Island of Elba for years but had never been to this restaurant, we stumbled upon it somewhat by chance while searching for some advice on Google. The staff was kind, helpful and came more than once to check at the table that everything was ok (something not to be underestimated nowadays). We had the octopus soup to share (I don't have the photo because it was so good that I didn't have time to make it) and then I (as in the photo) ordered the mussel soup, I don't even remember the last time I had it having eaten something so good! The sauce was sweet, no hint of acidity, the mussels cooked to perfection with just the right hint of spiciness. Thanks also to the staff who were super friendly even though we were the last ones in the restaurant. Super recommended, we will definitely return!!

Care, love and particular attention to true traditional cuisine!!! It is necessary to reserve caciucco and fish soup given the difficulty and preparation time, they are not dishes that can be cooked and prepared in a few minutes and for this very reason they are SPECTACULAR!!!! Recommended without the slightest doubt. Very kind and professional staff.

Delicious fish soup. Great selection of fish and well seasoned. The preparation takes 40 minutes. But they were pointed out beforehand and adequately provided for inside. Nothing unnecessary was added to you. Service was super friendly.

Attendevamo con impazienza una giornata nuvolosa per andare in questo ristorante che purtroppo non ha una terrazza esterna. Abbiamo preso la zuppa di pesce. Penso sia la più ricca e buona che io abbia mai mangiato (in 63 anni di vita!). Servizio professionale, gentile e piacevole. Prezzo nella media. Ottima anche l'accoglienza fatta alla nostra cagnolina. Se tornerò all'Elba ci tornerò anche se non sarà nuvoloso...
