Tutto buonissimo ed eccezionale. Abbiamo preso i pici al ragù d’anatra, le pappardelle al ragù toscano e una Fiorentina spettacolari! Si paga il giusto per un ristorante di qualità !!!

Enchanting romantic restaurant in Certaldo Alta with the possibility of sleeping in characteristic rooms. Managed by owners and staff who are kind and attentive in making your stay comfortable. View of the hills. A visit to the fortified town made entirely of red bricks (typical Tuscan) is worth a stop for a few days, also as a base for visiting the surroundings. We were in Certaldo Alto with friends and had lunch at Il Castello. A very nice property with a great outdoor area and a terrace including great views over Certaldo and the surrounding area. It was the first day of the season and things weren't going quite well yet. The visually very appealing food was a little underseasoned and not really warm. (although this is not unusual in Tuscany, as we were told elsewhere) The service was very friendly and good. Overall we were satisfied. We would test it again.

Beautiful well-kept location, both the outside and the inside... you can enjoy a beautiful view... we stayed outside as it was an almost summer day... very kind and professional staff... excellent quality food and wine... wonderful garden... very green… music in the background… very very recommended

typical Tuscan cuisine in a comfortable environment. very tasty dishes always different. try the homemade onion jams...highly recommended...

09/02/2024: Ho mangiato molto bene in questa osteria, un antipasto variegato e anche bello da vedere, tagliatelle alla barbabietola con crema al gorgonzola e noci e una saker Agata deliziosa, il tutto accompagnato da una bollicina rosé.
