The cuisine is good, traditional, quite refined. The environment is a bit of another era, which for me represents a positive note. Unfortunately the prices are too high and not at all competitive.

Excellent, homemade food with attention to traditional details

We went for Christmas lunch. Excellent lunch especially the sweet Piedmontese mixed fry.

The occasion is Christmas and, after years, we went to this cult site of Piedmontese cuisine. The welcome was wonderful, with the owners greeting us warmly, making us feel at home. The typical Piedmontese and home-made cuisine captured us and pleasantly cultured us. The Christmas menu was as follows: - Capon salad with pomegranate; - Veal rump in tuna sauce; - Cardoon pie with anchovy sauce; - Warm seafood with Taggiasca olives; - Carnaroli with artichokes and light pecorino cream; - Traditional agnolotti; - Beef stew alla Favorita with rosemary potatoes; - Sweet delights. And it is on these enigmatic delights that I would like to focus for a moment. Do you know the desserts of Fritto Misto alla Piemontese? Semolina, amaretti, pavesini with jam, apples etc.. all perfectly fried delicacies and without a drop of oil more than necessary. An unexpected surprise, but certainly appreciated. - Christmas cake; - Coffee and digestive. All this for the modest sum of sixty euros per person which, considering what we ate and the particular occasion, are completely bearable and shareable. One thing is certain. We will need to return as soon as possible to try a Fritto Misto, which promises to be unique and inviting. So five stars all deserved, for the professionalism and impeccable service. And so I set off again, always in search of the food and wine excellences of our beautiful country. See you soon my dear readers. And happy holidays again.

Excellent food friendly staff. Dogs are allowed. For disabled people there is an elevator. I don't know about the rooms...I just had lunch with friends.
