I had lunch in this splendid farmhouse after a walk in the hills of the upper Oltrepò. As mentioned, the restaurant is very beautiful, housed in the rectory of the church of Ruino, furnished in an "elegant rustic" way, very pleasant. Local cuisine faithful to tradition, with excellent products and raw materials, from starters to game main courses, excellent fresh, homemade pasta. Desserts are also promoted. Adequate wine list with correct mark-ups, the owner gave me the impression of knowing his stuff (regarding wine). Friendly service without long waits (as read in other reviews), absolutely correct quality and price.

You certainly don't arrive at the Wildmann farm by chance but, like all precious things, you have to make a bit of effort to reach them. After crossing the ancient village of Ruino (which is already worth a visit) you reach the seventeenth-century parish church of San Pietro Apostolo, adjacent to the farmhouse premises. We are welcomed by the owner who makes us choose an outdoor table (given that the season allows it) in the small square at the back of the rectory and surrounded by trees. The menu is sufficiently varied and very intriguing. We try different dishes to taste a bit of everything: each course is prepared with care and with top quality ingredients. We can only be satisfied and, personally, I would recommend the Wildmann farmhouse.

We went for lunch yesterday. In spring and summer it must be really beautiful. Yesterday, a cold and cloudy day, the landscape was a bit sad. The structure, created from the rectory of an ancient mountain church, is very beautiful and has various well-furnished rooms. There were 4 of us plus a small daughter and we had a room on the ground floor all to ourselves. Rating 5

Agriturismo ben curato e pulito.Veramente un bel posto.Personale molto disponibile e anche a modo.Tavola ben preparata e curata come si deve. Purteoppo l’esperienza nell’insieme non è stata pienamente positiva a causa di due aspetti molto importanti.Siamo arrivati alle 13 seduti a tavola.Abbiamo optato per un primo è un secondo piatto.L ‘attesa è stata esagerata.Il primo piatto è arrivato in tavola all 14,10.Tutti sono stati soddisfatti della qualità ma non della quantità.Il secondo piatto è arrivato alle 15,00 circa.Anche questo molto buono ma scarso per quantità.Il dolce è terminato alle 16,00 circa.Troppo lento e quindi molto spiacevole.Assenza di menu per bambini.Si potrebbe giustificare per il fatto che il locale era pieno ma con queste tempistiche è purtroppo in esperienza che difficilmente riuscirò a ripetere.Consiglierei di sostituire il menù alla carta con un menu fisso ,almeno la Domenica visto che non sono chiaramente organizzati per queste quantità di coperti.Avremmo preferito una scelta ridotta per un esperienza più gradevole.

Le mie recensioni per Wildmann sono monotone perche ogni volta è tutto alla perfezione. Dal servizio, ai piatti, all’atmosfera. Top! Grazie
