We had an incredible morning at Piani del Cristo Mountain Hut after witnessing the sunrise over Peralba and spending the night at Calvi Refuge. This charming mountain refuge in Sappada exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a cheerful young lady and a friendly waiter. They served us a delightful breakfast consisting of two croissants with local jam and two cappuccinos with the creamiest and most delicious foam.Surrounded by the lush greenery of the mountains, it's truly heartwarming to know that places like Piani del Cristo exist, capable of evoking such emotions. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

We stopped yesterday for dinner on our way back from a holiday in South Tyrol. We were a little early for dinner time but we were welcomed very kindly and we ate very very well, I recommend the pork cheeks with polenta and mushrooms, the apple strudel and the house red wine, fast service, great place very nice, fair price. For me, a place to take into consideration every time you are in the area.

Beh che dire. Non so nemmeno da dove iniziare. Il rifugio ci regala ogni anno delle fantastiche attenzioni. Posto fisso delle nostre vacanze a Sappada. Da ormai 4 anni. Nonostante siano passati gli anni, la qualità rimane sempre ottima, anzi, migliora ogni anno. Carne buonissima e cotta veramente degna di nota che fa da contorno alla vera essenza del locale. Si esatto. Il cibo, seppur buonissimo è un contorno quando il locale ed il personale lo rendono già perfetto. I sorrisi, le modalità super cordiali, la pulizia e la cura in tutto sono solo l’inizio di una lista in cui ci sono solo complimenti. Continuate sempre così, come fate da anni. Saluti da Rimini.

We stopped to drink a coffee....very nice and well-kept place. Friendly and fast staff
