In the busy and heavily touristic town of Alberobello (Unesco World Heritage Site for the Trulli House Tradition), even off season, or especially because of that, it can be hard to find a place to have a proper dinner. Most bars and local eateries serve small dishes and drinks mostly. Some pizzerias even told us that they only serve pizza during summer. That's a bummer when you and your 2 kids are hungry at 6 pm.
This is why this pizzeria with a fantastic view (pictured), reasonable pricing, and delicious pizze came just right!
Everything was nice, and I can't complain about a thing. The pizze were crunchy, just how I like them most.

Restaurant in the centre, spacious internal room, also possibility of an external garden. We ate an excellent appetizer... good pizza for dough, cooking and seasoning and really tasty and plentiful pucce, possibility of changing the menu for particular needs. Fast service and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

We are on holiday and they recommended this pizzeria to us. We were super happy. We travel often and have tasted many pizzas, but never like this one! Quality ingredients, very tasty flavour, and very well cooked. I recommend the "cacio e pepe".

Pizzeria and focacceria with internal room and garden to enjoy their extraordinary pizzas in taste, filling and perfect cooking! Even the beers, with interesting types, are served at the perfect temperature. Friendly, welcoming and precise table service. I will definitely be back!

They were able to customise vegan pizza for us by taking away the cheese on vegetarian pizza. The dough was nice but the ingredients didn’t really hold well together as a whole for the pizza.

La pizzeria Pozzo Contino di Alberobello è un vero gioiello culinario: la pizza è impeccabile, con un impasto leggero e croccante che si sposa perfettamente con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. L'atmosfera accogliente e il servizio cordiale completano un'esperienza gastronomica indimenticabile. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consiglio vivamente questo luogo a tutti gli amanti della buona cucina italiana.
