Porto Rosso In Monopoli

Very good food, both in the Restaurant and pizzeria, breathtaking location and excellent service. Furthermore, the greatest convenience is that the place also has a beautiful bar under which there is a wonderful free beach, where you can enjoy an aperitif while waiting to be called to sit at the restaurant or pizzeria.

Quite a tourist place, the guys were kind but the service itself was very poor, no attention to detail. Nice location by the sea...at least the pizza was good. I don't think I'll go back. Average prices...25 euros per person to eat pizza, beer and some fries.

Restaurant in Monopoli on top of a cliff overlooking the sea with a breathtaking view, we started with a really good red prawn tartar, as the main course lobster tagliolini top marks, perfect cooking of the pasta and well executed seasoning, congratulations. Kind and attentive service.

We booked this little place near the sea for a birthday dinner. The environment is certainly suggestive with the Monopoli promontory in plain sight and the tables practically overlooking the sea. We ate a raw appetizer which, apart from the prawns which seemed half cooked, wasn't bad. While the flavor of the peppered mussels wasn't bad but they certainly needed to be cleaned better. We then moved on to the first courses, the risotto and seafood carbonara were not bad while for me gluten-free the tartare was really microscopic. The bread, both the normal one and the gluten-free one, were not of excellent quality. Finally, the same goes for desserts. All very mediocre for the food. Good and fast service, nice place. Definitely a tourist place.
