Excellent ice cream! I recommend the cakes if you want to make a splash with your guests. P.s. There are ice creams suitable for those who, like me, have problems with milk.

Delicious ice cream.... Too bad the granita was a little too sweet...... excellent quality and quite crowded. Try the coffee affogato with cream.... divine!!

17/03/2024: Passing through, fast and friendly service. Dishes like at grandma's house! Relaxed and informal environment. Excellent prices. I had even dialed the number to find out if they had space but since we were practically opposite and we were parking I hung up and headed to the entrance, on the way the girl called me back saying she had received a call, never happened! It was fate that we had to meet you. Thank you!
14/03/2024: A quick meal, we arrived late, but no problem. Clean, welcoming place with all the colorful chairs. Quick girls in serving. Abundant quality food. Fixed menu 14 euros perhaps worth a few euros less...

Bar Scacco Matto

28/01/2024: This bar is perfect for a snack or drinks. Super welcoming owner and staff. Lovely little spot both in the sunshine on the terrace or indoors on the cosy sofas.
25/01/2024: Fantastic bar, great decor (going back to the 70's, really distinctive and cool) and ambience. Lovely lady, Paola, who runs it (and has run it since 1978!!) is really cool and makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. She's happy to recommend all sorts of interesting Italian drinks, samples etc (Amaro, Nocino, grappa, home made Arancello, etc) Occasionally gets the karaoke out - great fun place and really low-key and relaxed place to have a quiet drink with friends after a day on the slopes. Love it, will come back to Sauze specifically to visit this bar.
