Products prepared with excellent quality raw materials. The place was recently renovated and is very bright, there is a wide choice of sweets and the chocolate department is truly of the highest level. It's all artisanal and the staff are friendly and helpful. The fridge cakes are also very good, I would particularly recommend those with shortcrust pastry and meringue; there are various types of modern cakes and classic cakes. Super recommended!!!

It often happens to me, at this bar, to have a coffee or a cappuccino. I must say that Mrs Maria makes a truly superior quality cappuccino. I also frequent other bars, where they hastily serve shameful cappuccinos, the lady in question, does not never makes a mistake. Chapeau 🙂

Locale che conoscevo per le ottime sfoglie di vari gusti, buonissime per colazione. Ho provato l'acquisto di un pandoro e un panettone fatti da loro, alla non modica cifra di oltre 40 euro l'uno. Panettone strepitoso, successo con tutti, vale il prezzo. Mentre il pandoro è da rivedere: non abbastanza morbido, non è piaciuto praticamente a nessuno.

Pasticceria molto fornita e con prodotti di qualità! Ho ordinato un dolce millefoglie per una festa di laurea e non potevo chiedere di meglio. Il laboratorio è stato competente e professionale. Consigliata!

Bar Lo Sdrucciolo

02/04/2024: A small family Bistro, this is in the middle of the historic hill town of Volterra and offers home cooked meals. We have a vegetarian appetizer enough for a full meal consisting of grilled veggies,  burrata, pecorino, rice and a spinach and cheese quiche.  We also tried taglitelle and ravioli with spinach which were great.   And finally chingiale (wild boar cheeks) in a local Tuscan sauce which included chocolate and was delicious.  They also had artisinal Italian IPA which was good.   The downfall was the caffe which had a bitter burnt taste.
23/12/2023: Discovered this fantastic little café with an adjoining restaurant by chance. Super friendly boss and the espresso with the pastries is an absolute culinary delight. So comfortably furnished and the absolutely special thing: in addition to the culinary delights, there is an amazing ceiling fresco. For that reason alone it is worth coming in to enjoy this atmosphere for a moment.
