Historic pastry shop with a wide assortment of sweet and savory pastries. Typical Sicilian products such as cannoli, cassata, truly exquisite almond desserts. Also always present is the ArancinA with a capital A! TOP. The current management staff is young and very kind. They also accept meal vouchers for lunch breaks.

What can I say, Gaetano is more of an institution than a bar! The chocolate cremini are exceptional among the desserts and the arancini (or arancine, so as not to harm any sensitivity) among the savory ones, but I recommend trying everything little by little. At least a weekly stop is a must.

Alle paste si dà 5 perché sono eccezionali. Per quanto riguarda il servizio, io di solito vengo giusto a prendere i vassoi da portar via. Fin qui okay. Mi è capitato però di restare a fare colazione, e in quel caso il servizio non è che sia proprio brillante. C'è un po' di disattenzione (a meno che tu non sia un cliente abituale). L'atmosfera è quella che è, il locale è lungo e stretto e nella sezione riservata ai tavoli ci si muove male perché ingombrano. Un posto da toccata e fuga dove quello che conta è la materia prima (e hai detto nulla). Caffè buono.

31/03/2024: Very very good restaurant! Very well located, perfect service and excellent food! We had a very pleasant time. There were 8 of us and they moved the tables to allow us to be together. The waitress was very nice and smiling, the pizzas and pastas were excellent and the salads were very generous. I rarely rate restaurants but for once I highly recommend this restaurant!
25/03/2024: Traditional place. Very quick in preparation. Friendly service. Clean. Very tasty tagliatelle with Chianina ragù. Compliments

13/03/2024: Pleasant surprise. Very different pizza compared to that of the previous management, in my opinion much better. Tasty and consistent dough (but not gummy), quality ingredients, tasty and well balanced. The cooking perhaps needs to be adjusted because, even if the consistency was excellent, unfortunately the pizza underneath was a little burnt (not so much burnt that it couldn't be eaten, but still the bitterness of the burnt food was noticeable and ruined the taste a little). party). Excellent craft beer!
24/02/2024: Newly renovated, beautiful, clean place with very friendly staff. Maria from the staff wonderful person. Delicious pizza! Absolutely coming back! Highly recommended!
