SPECTACULAR We stopped for breakfast and discovered this wonderful pastry shop, exquisite puff pastry, sublime pastry cream. We treated ourselves to an encore of brioche and apple puff pastry... too good. Very well-kept and refined location. I highly recommend it

30/10/2023: Ristorante molto bello e arredato con gusto, servizio perfetto...personale gentile, ti fa sentire a casa. Ho mangiato i canederli e mi sono piaciuti tantissimo, prezzi nella norma. Ci tornerei volentieri, peccato di non essere di Trento!
15/10/2023: Another excellent meal at Il Libertino, which continues to deliver a delicious modernised and lightened version of the Trentino cuisine. Stars of the day were an exemplary risotto with pumpkin and baccalà (salt cod), the salt cod mousse with polenta (yes we love the way chef Assunta prepares cod!), and an unbelievably moist rabbit with mushrooms and polenta. But also lovely were the tonnarelli with sausage and local broccoli, and a dish of pumpkin and cheese sauce. Desserts never disappoint here, with a sort of "parfait tiramisu" making an impression. Service is friendly and hard-working, capable of dealing well with even a very full room. The owner, always present, brings personality and manages everything with quiet competence and professionalism - he's a wine expert and will be able to advise you well on the the large and impressive wine list. Prices are fair.
