Pasticceria Caldarola In Novara

31/03/2024: We went for dinner with friends, for parking we went on a side road in the railway area because the restaurant is located on a high road and there are not many parking spaces. The interior is very bright and the tables are well spaced from each other. The pizza was Neapolitan-style with a little crust; at least mine, underneath the edge, was toasted and although good I didn't find it particular. In the group we also had a small child and they have child seats available, in his case he was asked for ham but unfortunately they couldn't bring it because it arrived already cut into strips and so they opted for meatballs with sauce. The prices are average also considering that we are in Novara, however, I would have preferred the napkin and a cloth placemat instead of the paper placemat.

20/03/2024: Place located near the train station, in a non-central area. Fairly large room, with wood-burning oven. The pizzas are appreciable (we ordered a Margherita and a Cosacca), a cross between the "rota e cart" and the pizza with a canotto crust. The dough proved to be light and digestible, the ingredients of good quality. A pizza, overall, aligned with the standards of true Neapolitan pizza, above the average of many chain pizzas. The service was quite quick and courteous. The cost is more than reasonable.
