We went here for the first time for the big fish dinner, a fixed menu event. The risotto with scallops, prawns and champagne was exceptional and the tuna steak was among the best I've eaten. The Capelonga appetizer was not very satisfying, perhaps because it was a little cold. It must be said that we arrived a little late. That dish is the one thing I would pay more attention to. Rustic and simple location, warm and welcoming. Friendly staff and a more than fair price. We'll be back

Locanda Al Municipio

01/09/2023: Di passaggio a Venzone abbiamo provato questo locale anche su consiglio del personale della struttura dove abbiamo alloggiato. Il personale è gentile, i piatti locali provati erano buoni sebbene non particolarmente abbondanti, il prezzo tutto sommato contenuto. Abbiamo cenato nel cortile esterno, sotto ampie tende, in un contesto molto gradevole.
21/08/2023: In questa locanda abbiamo preso i cjarsons, sono dei ravioli tradizionali friulani, più precisamente della Carnia. Sono tipici della cucina povera e racchiudono un miscuglio di ingredienti dolci e salati che vengono conditi con la morchia, un condimento realizzato con burro fuso e farina di mais tostata...da assaggiare!!
