I came back after a year and I have to make more than one criticism, the portions are no longer as generous as there used to be, there were 18 of us. The octopus from the appetizer didn't touch a single piece. They filled us up with mussels and that's it, like the first and second courses. the portions were small for the sacrificed desserts, the waitress informed us about the sorbets, failing to also indicate the cakes which we then saw being served to other diners, I repeat our waitress was rude and we are talking about a significant increase in the price

Simplicity, friendliness, joy, quality, abundance, honesty in prices. These are the qualities of this historic tavern in Livorno. Finally after several years, I had the pleasure of experiencing the atmosphere and cuisine of Melafumo and it was wonderful. My wife, I and our little Seb stayed here for 10. Absolutely worth trying is their fried cod, light, plentiful and balanced when fried. The mixed grill is excellent and tasty (sometimes you can risk drying out the fish but this is not the case). The spectacular service with the two girls in the room who make you feel like family or friends on Easter Monday. I recommend it very, very much.

We stumbled upon this place tonight by chance and were positively impressed by the good food and the atmosphere. We ate while having fun singing famous Italian songs. I absolutely recommend not to miss it. Trio of appetizers and creme brulee.
The very honest price! Fish starter, fish first course, dessert and drinks €25 each.

Extravagant place dedicated to fun and a lively evening of company.
Excellent service to say the least, the girl who served us was prompt and cheerful (not easy to find lately).
The food was fabulous, fresh and quality fish, very generous portions.
We will definitely be back as soon as possible.

Definitely a surprise!
Given that food breaks down the boundaries of political ideology, the location is decidedly pro-communist in all its corners and spaces
My friends and I from Rome ate while traveling in transit.....very good.!!
Fast and friendly staff, including the friendly and welcoming chef.
Reasonable prices considering everything is based on fresh fish and well served. Abundant first courses

Posizione abbastanza centrale, locale con uno suo stile alla mano e solidale . Spazioso ma a quanto pare occorre sempre prenotare per torvare posto. Cucina livornese a bun prezzo . Ho trovato tutto ottimo in particolare il baccalà . Prezzo ottimo, ci tornerò di sicuro
