Osteria Mamma Rosa In Milano

A very fine Osteria, the perfect end to our stay in Milan. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we still got a table, even though the restaurant was very busy during the evening. At the beginning there was a glass of Prosecco on the house. The selection of dishes for the starter and the main course was large, but the wine selection was even larger. We thought it was great that there were also 0.375l bottles, although in the end we ended up using a “normal” bottle of Pinot Grigio. Although my partner was full after the main course, she was immediately hooked when she saw the desserts, all of which the waiter presented on a large tray, and chose the yoghurt with fruit. I chose the tiramisu in a terracotta pot. The staff was very attentive, the various pictures of Italian places on the walls are just a matter of taste. We liked them. The long wire mesh as a lamp on the ceiling is also very stylish. Overall, we were extremely pleasantly surprised at the price, as we only paid around €70 per person for the great ambience and starter, main course, dessert, wine, water and coffee.

Today we celebrated our 40th wedding. always a great place.

Both the food and services was top notch

Excellent service! It feels like a cruise. Everything is good and refined. The steak is very tender, the sauces are delicious. Very varied menu, lots of fish and seafood. I highly recommend.

I had dinner here . My pasta was very light and not much seafood on top. They also change $4.5 euro for that basket of bread (over charge) and bottle water at $3.50. Overall, for this price, I could have some nice back home. Service was very slow, and w an attitude. However the atmosphere was very nice!

Locale grande ma spazioso. Anche se affollato hai la tua privacy. Pesce di alta gamma crudo e cotto. Ottimi vini. Peccato per dei peccatucci che raccomando di rimediare in un locale di questo livello. Il cameriere non deve mai passare il piatto al cliente e il vino in ghiaccio deve essere corredato da apposito tovagliolo e magari quando passi lo servi tu saranno inezie ma io le guardo

Ristorante in zona stazione che serve piatti della tradizione ma anche e soprattutto pesce. I piatti di pesce sono perfetti mentre su quelli di terra qualche piccolo difetto l’ho trovato. Complessivamente comunque il livello è certamente elevato e nel ristorante è possibile soddisfare tutte le esigenze in maniera più che adeguata. Prezzo un po’ altino ma vista la qualità dei piatti si può accettare

Gli spaghetti alle vongole erano molto buoni, saporiti e anche un po’ diversi con la bottarga. Ma poi il mio secondo: la mezza astice da gomma che nuotava nell’insalata. Un mio giovane amico italiano ha descritto la sua prima esperienza del cibo finlandese che noi mangiavamo come 🐷 perché mettevamo tutto sullo stesso piatto. Ho ordinato l’insalata mista della stagione: erano i pomodori verdi con uno pomodoro rosso. Lo so avrei dovuto dire prima, ma ero così 😞

Ogni anno ci torno molto volentieri, mi piace sia l'atmosfera natalizia che la qualità dei piatti.
