One of my favourite restaurants of all time. Always amazing service, the food is perfect and the wine list is one of the best ever if you want to drink local wines. A true gem, not to be missed. Check out their piano bar down the road too…

The restaurant was full and the service was a bit disorganized and slow but pleasant. We started with the poached egg which was average. The spaghetti with pancetta was very fresh & flavorful. The roasted sea bass was fresh, well cooked but uninspiring. Wine choices were excellent.

Please don’t take that vongole dish! It was like a soup for the hospitalized, awful! The other dishes we had were good! But too expensive!

A very warm welcome, a very friendly waiter who spoke with us in French, very tasty dishes served on hot plates. Very elaborate desserts and wine served by the glass. A very good time spent here.

Good restaurant with variety of good local vine on any taste and money😉 The food is amazing and very delicious. Beef cheeks were unforgettable delicious. Portions correspond to portions of good restaurants ( not so big😎). Service is on a high level, atmosphere is friendly and the kitchen is open, if you want to verify the process. Toilets are clean.

Locale a 30 metri da piazza del campo, arredato con vetrine antiche, davvero affascinante, cucina a vista (per me grandissimo valore aggiunto),abbiamo preso cavolfiore con brodo di cavolo,maiale e tartufo nero..sorprendente! Risotto con salsiccia di cinta senese,cannella fermentata ed erbe amare: fantastico (tutti gli ingredienti riconoscibilissimi senza che uno prevalesse sull'altro..) e continuato con la guancia di manzo,melanzane alla libanese e gel di rape rosse mi ha deliziato. Fornitissima la cantina, personale accogliente, gentile e professionale con il quale è possibile pure scambiare piacevolissime parole ..i prezzi tutt'altro che bassi ma la qualità va pagata. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Bar Barroccio

02/01/2024: It's a nice place, much bigger than it looks. They were kind. We had a quick lunch so not much to add. The food was as I would expect. However the ham and cheese sandwich was ironically outstanding for a ham and cheese. Go and enjoy.
05/10/2023: Best bar by far & the staff are tremendous The locals are so friendly and welcome you. It all happens in the bar from morning until night, a real local hub and not all about alcohol! The local kids come in and buy their sweets & ice cream etc. A real treat to see. Fabulous coffee & pastries in the morning & super pizza snacks etc during the day Great wee stop over for cyclists! We stay in the village for 2-3 weeks and just feel part of it.
