Osteria Il Gobbetto In Napoli

Among many restaurants we tried in Naples, this was overall my favorite. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is great and really homey. It’s perfect to experience Napoli, its cuisine and its beautiful, joyful way of living. The restaurant is small and cozy, the staff is super friendly and incredibly fast. You need to go early or prepare to queue. While all food in Naples is above the average, at the Gobbetto you can taste what homemade food is. The house antipasti that they always bring is A LOT, probably a whole meal by itself but it’s soooo good! We tasted zeppole (fried dough), fried anchovies, bruschetta, beans, meatballs, and more. Then I personally tried the Pasta and Potato. I had tried this dish at another restaurant and it was good, but at the Gobbetto it was even better. I highly recommend it! Overall I truly recommend you try this amazing restaurant to feel the awesome atmosphere.

Everything was delicious, an excellent welcome (they also offered us a glass of wine in the certificate for the table) and very friendly and approachable staff... highly recommended...

The house appetizer is absolutely worth trying, a riot of flavors and imagination. Even the first ones are really delicious. I am not able to judge the "Neapolitan" nature of the cuisine but there is no doubt that it is excellent!

Excellent value for money, we were welcomed in a courteous manner and ate well, family atmosphere... we will definitely be back! I advise.

Siamo stati a pranzo, posto incantevole. Gennaro il cameriere è stato simpaticissimo, ci ha accolto con la simpatia che solo un napoletano può avere. Antipasti e pasta patate e provola da leccarsi i baffi. Compliementi, continuate così
