Absolutely delicious food - both the recipes and the preparation clearly involved great care and pride of kitchen. I very highly recommend Il Gallo Nel Pozzo!

Year after year this place is the place to be in Panicale. Great food and pleasant people. This time we had to stop for dinner on our way to the south. It's always a pleasure to come back.

The dinner was very good. The dishes were well decorated and very exquisite on the palate. You can see that they put their heart and a lot of professionalism into it, especially in the attention to detail. The environment is very nice, two floors and very welcoming. The service is helpful, fast and very kind. If I find myself in Panicale again, I will certainly go to eat at the Osteria il Gallo nel Pozzo again.

A beautiful little osteria full of great taste. The family running the place takes a lot care in having a small but tasty menu with giving a special touch to their dishes. We had a delicious dinner combined with a great wine. Definitely a place to keep in mind and go again!

26/02/2024: Beautiful restaurant near the Basilica of San Francesco. Breathtaking ambience, very courteous service and fantastic dishes. A big compliment and gladly again.
24/02/2024: Beautiful evening in the company of friends. Mari e Monti dinner, delicious pappardelle with white wild boar ragù, really good paccheri with seafood and TOP wild boar stew!! Well done, keep it up. I highly recommend it P.s. I forgot a beautiful place with the possibility of having dinner and lunch outdoors in the spring and summer months

23/05/2024: The staff is incredibly friendly and in a good mood. The food was really tasty! My tip: Be sure to try the cappuccino, the focaccia and the pistachio ice cream. Definitely worth a visit, I can only recommend it!
11/05/2024: Took shelter from the rain here on the way back to the hotel. Had to try the torta al testo in Perugia. We shared one with 'stracchino' cheese and rocket and another with salami and cheese. Very tasty with a glass of Montefalco
