Generally expensive compared to the quality. The suckling pig was very good (and the mashed potatoes, unfortunately poor), the fried calamari however with oil that wasn't exactly top notch. Bulk wine half liter 8 euros. But the best was the tiramisu: some ladyfingers in a saucer, dipped a little in coffee, with cream on top, I think from a can, at a cost of 6 euros. Nb: they didn't make pizzas, but when we booked they didn't notify us.

Located inland in a village dominated by a castle, the family-run inn is managed with wisdom. The ravioli and rabbit are unmissable but the fish dishes are also excellent. Per la Seconda volta torniamo, a distanza di un paio d’anni, in questa osteria/agriturismo che, se si chiede prenotando per tempo un tavolo all’esterno, offre una location molto bella e suggestiva! Facciamo presente che una persona al tavolo ha problemi di allergia alla frutta secca e prontamente il titolare si presenta al tavolo per spiegarci cosa poter prendere e cosa evitare. Bravi!! Buona l’offerta del menù, sia di carne che di pesce, decidiamo per antipasti della casa (discreti) e successivamente pasta fresca allo scoglio (buona ma porzione un po’ ridotta sia di pasta che di frutti di mare), Mentre i secondi sono decisamente di livello, sia per la carne (filetto , e coniglio alla ligure) che la frittura di pesce. Beviamo una Alta Langa. Il servizio è svolto da personale sorridente, presente, attento, cortese, disponibilissimo! Veramente molto bravi! Peccato sia andato storto qualcosa in cucina perché vengono servite prima due portate e le altre due dopo parecchi minuti (uno dei due in ritardo era per l’unica donna presente al tavolo). Ci viene spiegato , scusandosi per il ritardo, che mancava eccezionalmente una persona in cucina… I dolci sono eccellenti!! Finisco personalmente con un Whisky torbato … Conto consono alla serata.lo consiglio vivamente e torneremo…

Locale caratteristico a Castellaro, buon cibo ma il servizio lascia a desiderare: lenti nel prendere la comanda e nel servire. I piatti buoni ma quantità risicate. Ottimi i dolci.

Sehr leckeres Essen in toller Atmosphäre. Der Weg hoch ist abenteuerlich aber machbar. Der Service war nett nur die Rechnung ließ über 30 Minuten auf sich warten. Da es sehr voll war hatten wir dafür Verständnis. Kommen gerne wieder.

Restaurant unique dans le village , accueil charmant même sans réservation, on nous a rajouter une table sous les arbres . Dîner fait produits frais maison , pâtes excellentes. Grandes pizza et fromage artisanal . Vin de Ligurie parfait . Addition légère comme la soirée passée dans ce lieu qui valait bien que on y retourne une deuxième fois . Le personnel même débordé est à l écoute de ses clients . En bref allez y les yeux fermés . Très belle expérience
