Osteria Del Viandante In Arvier

We stayed for 3 days for lunch or dinner. The work menu is good for lunch and the à la carte menu in the evening is excellent. The scallops with porcini mushrooms are special. Courteous and fast service. Very good pizzas. Compliments!

I usually eat Tex Mex but today I opted for a pizza. Excellent as is the service. I recommend the Mexican Steak

In famiglia pernottiamo nell'hotel dall'altra parte della strada. La cameriera molto gentile ci accoglie, ma ci dice da subito no pizza no messicano no carbonada. Va bene...Ci arrangiamo in qualche modo e pranziamo. Prezzi nella norma, bagni puliti

Great restaurant, very reasonably priced and good service. I had a pizza Valdostan(i?) which has some local cheese called fontina and just so that I wasn't surprised by the flavour they actually brought out a small piece of that particular cheese for me to try which I thought was excellent service as they obviously recognised I was not from the area. I think small things like that go a long way to ensuring a great customer experience. Pizza was tasty and I will be eating here again.

Locale pieno quindi ovviamente le due povere cameriere (sempre gentili nonostante il carico di lavoro) dovevano correre per gestire tutto e tutti, forse durante le settimane calde delle feste natalizie occorrerebbe loro un aiuto. La pizza è stata leggera e saporita, una buona pizza. Per il messicano (dolcezza dei pomodori a parte ovviamente ) ho ritrovato i sapori messicani che ben conoscevo. Tutto molto buono. Un po’ meno un antipasto locale invece. Prezzo più che onesto Unica pecca l’ambiente troppo caldo per poter gustare una zuppa con fagioli rovente senza trovarsi presto in un bagno di sudore.

Ci siamo stati venerdì 17 novembre 2023 di ritorno dalle terme. Volevamo un aperitivo, abbiamo optato per due calici di prosecco. Come antipasto abbiamo preso due taglieri valdostani (mocetta, lardo e formaggio con della confettura) e a seguire il dolce della casa. Ottima posizione, con parcheggio (è davanti al Comune di Arvier). Ci siamo trovati bene. Non molta gente e posto tranquillo. Prezzo nella norma. Consigliato.
