Senza infamia e senza lode: piatti abbondanti, servizio cortese, ma sapori abbastanza banali, già sentiti e risentiti. Peccato.

Di ritorno dalla Calabria decidiamo di fermarci a Sarno per pranzo, per mangiare carne, la bistecca buona, contorni buoni, servizio buono e locale molto carino, in stile moderno.

Very tasty cuisine. Pasta with vongols, simply wonderful. Meat with mushrooms, everything is very tasty. Very pleasant atmosphere. The service is super. The owner is very nice. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Extraordinary Osteria, it still remains one of the best places in the Sarno Valley. It greatly exceeded our expectations of an excellent lunch of fresh fish, consumed by a Friulian winemaker and three of us from Campania. Offering well-revised authentic cuisine, typically Neapolitan style, an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a romantic evening or a family dinner. Delicious dishes and the service is excellent. In particular, I tasted the spaghetti with clams, a perfect dish for those who love strong flavours. We have no doubts: we will be back! Compliments to the Chef. Thank you!!!

Valentine's evening, dedicated to love and good food. It was my first time dining in this classy Osteria, not only for the location, but for the kind welcome and excellent food. As they say, it was an evening performed according to the script of a great film. Compliments to the staff, certainly to the Chef. I highly recommend for the more curious, to take a look.

Thanks to a friend I met Osteria dei Sarrastri, with great knowledge of raw materials, today at lunch with one of my clients from Positano he said: “Today I discovered that in Sarno you eat great fish”

With great surprise today I had lunch in this legendary and extraordinary Osteria, of which there is not much. In fact it is an elegant and refined restaurant, where I found a royal welcome and excellent food. Excellent starters and incredible salt snapper. It was a lunch hard to forget. I'm going back with my family.

16/01/2024: We spent a nice evening here with friends. The place is small and dark, so some might like it, but others, including me, don't. Splendid starters, traditional cuisine, simple but with a special touch. I really liked the pie with potatoes and mushrooms, congratulations. Wines paired perfectly, very pleasant indeed. I will be back soon!
23/12/2023: Very central restaurant, with good cuisine and a very interesting price. It was full when I went but in a very short time there was a free table. I get the feeling that many people who work in the surrounding area use it to eat and that's why they don't linger for a long after-dinner meal. I had pasta with swordfish and totani (squid, a variety of squid) stewed with potatoes. Of the second I will only say that it reminded me of the squid stew that my mother prepared, the best compliment that can be given to a cook. Both dishes and a drink (water) for €15

24/03/2024: What can I say about the superior quality of the food, spectacular white roe ragout, cuts of meat from bison to black ox, things you don't find around every day, in short, locally sourced side dishes, even the handmade and delicious desserts, very capable owner prepared and friendly! We will definitely be back
