Onigiri RAKU In Bologna

Japanese but not just sushi! Very small place and especially suitable for a short and informal break. The food is excellent and prepared by a Japanese chef. I liked everything and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the true taste of Japanese food.

I went for dinner on a Friday evening and was warmly welcomed by the restaurant manager. I was intrigued by the negative reviews, but I have to say that they don't reflect reality. Lucky to find a seat straight away, the manager was very friendly and clear right away, explaining the menu in detail. Stratospheric food, very beautiful ornaments and jazz music (Japan?) in the background. Octopus meatballs (forgive me for not remembering the Japanese name) delicious and delicate. Excellent udon, perfect tempura, excellent quality of prawns and masterfully prepared gyoza. A magical moment!

Great food, but male waiter with beard rude, very obnoxious I don't like it, but I come back for the food.

It's delicious, the tempura and octopus balls are super delicious. The waiter would urge us to leave after seeing us finish eating, even though there were no other customers in the store except us at that time.

Very cute little restaurant. Its owned and run by husband and wife Japanese family. The food is very authentic Japanese dishes. I often go here with my partner for lunch. Service is perfect. I have not had any issues. Price is fair too

Il ristorante Onigiri raku è stata una fortunata scoperta per noi. Senza prenotazione e senza particolari aspettative, ci siamo ritrovati in un piccolo angolo di Giappone proprio qui nella nostra città. I piatti che abbiamo assaggiato sono stati buoni e di gusto autentico. L'ambiente è piccolo e intimo, ospita circa 7-9 persone. Questo ha aggiunto un tocco di autenticità alla nostra esperienza, facendoci sentire come se fossimo in un vero locale giapponese. Il proprietario si è dimostrato gentile e accogliente, rispondendo a ogni nostra domanda. Infine siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Che dire? Assolutamente consigliato per un'esperienza autentica e senza troppi fronzoli
