The place is a little dark, a familiar and homely atmosphere. I was hoping for more choice of fresh fish. The fried calamari was good, the sea bass was so-so (a little greasy with soggy vegetables... I don't eat them, let me know in advance!), savored sardines which my relatives liked a lot, prawn lasagne which was very poor and disappointing because it was all vegetables and the prawns were missing. The meringue, on the other hand, is very good and the coffee is ok. Friendly service, few people, waited the right amount.

Fixed stop every time I come to Marano lagoon. Excellent cuttlefish with polenta, and delicious fried calamari!!! The whole menu is also worth trying!!

Abbiamo avuto piacere di mangiare per un paio di giorni presso il ristorante durante un ritiro sportivo, abbiamo mangiato molto bene , qualità prezzo buona e massima disponibilità del personale

Small portions, high prices, tables without tablecloths, long waiting times between one dish and another. Tasteless cod, good cuttlefish. Finally, frozen berry mousse. I had different expectations but I was disappointed

Al Convento

04/04/2024: Easter lunch, excellent food and good welcome. We will be back
27/12/2023: Al Convento was an incredible surprise ! The restaurant is part of the original 15th century convent in the center of Palmanova. Hospitality and service were excellent. We had appetizers of grilled octopus and a salad which consisted of the local red lettuce called “Rosa da Gorizia”. We sipped on local Friuli Cabernet. My husband had the lamb entree with roast potatoes, herbs ,grapes ………Exceptional quality and flavor . My entree was Fettuccine with Sicilian “violetti” Artichokes and ground lamb. I can’t say enough about this delicious food. I wish I could give it a 10!

LA TRATTORIA DEL BELVEDERE

21/04/2024: I recommend. They take great care of cleanliness and have a spacious bathroom. Excellent cuisine and great staff. Everything at the highest level.
22/03/2024: good hotel very close to the state road - the furniture would need a bit of modernization although everything is tidy and very clean - excellent restaurant and staff
