Locale storico (oltre 60 anni!), ristrutturato senza eccessivi stravolgimenti. Si percepisce subito l’essenza del classico ristorante un po’ vecchio stampo, ma di una certa raffinatezza e di un certo spessore.
Optato per pietanze di mare, il polpo alla griglia su rape e patate che ci hanno servito come antipasto è stata la miglior portata del pranzo. Cottura azzeccatissima come molto raramente capita di riscontrare con il polpo, nè troppo tenace nè troppo morbido, veramente perfetto. Buone le linguine agli scampi, forse un po’ insapore il baccalà in tempura.
Eccezionale ricotta e pera.
Un appunto doveroso: tempi di servizio dei piatti decisamente poco coordinato: io avevo già terminato le linguine mentre la mia compagna stava ancora attendendo il suo piatto. Questo aspetto è assolutamente da sistemare.

Today I ate a sublime lobster linguine, very fresh and cooked respecting the natural taste of the fish. The choice of raw materials is of high quality from pasta to cherry tomatoes. Obviously the table service is impeccable thanks to the sober sympathy and empathy of the historic Mario. Raffaele, chef and owner of the renowned restaurant, was able to continue his dear father's business with dignity, a lot of work and passion. More to the point...well done🍀

I am attached to this restaurant because we celebrated my communion more than 30 years ago. The restaurant is handed down from Mimi' to her son Raffaele, I believe that in Irpinia it is difficult to eat better. Very high quality of food, from fish to meat without being able to make mistakes. The linguine with lobster and cherry tomatoes is sublime, not to mention the cod parmigiana. Important wine selection. Raffaele the owner is an exquisite person, the room is managed by the excellent Mario, he promptly remembers all the tastes and preferences of the customers (I practically don't even have to order). For the quality of the food the price you pay is truly negligible. My rating from 1 to 10 is 11 not because I have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years but because the Mimi' Restaurant is truly of the highest quality. I'll post just one photo for you.
