Quite a few stalls were closed when I visited, so it was lacking that hectic vibe that a true fresh food market has, but I managed to get great lunch options: pasta with brodo from one place and eggplant parmigiana piadina (made as the closed version, can’t remember the name) and both were so tasty! 😋

A closed market in Bologna where one can get almost anything! Fresh fruits and vegetables! Cold meats and cheeses as well as basic pastries! A pleasant surprise!

Get your vegetables here, not at the chain grocery stores. Fresher, more flavorful and longer lasting. Also good cheese shop, butcher, deli, and fresh pasta stands.

22/03/2024: Informal but warm and welcoming place, surrounded by greenery! Attentive and very kind staff. Great customer care and really good food! To top it all off, four-legged friends of various sizes act as a pleasant "side dish"! Absolutely recommended for everything
