We had lunch in this restaurant on Sunday 12 May, taking only the first course, generous and good quality portions: a busiata with sardines and a busiata with prawns and bottarga, plus a freshly prepared sweet tiramisu and an excellent glass of red wine. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Considering that the restaurants on the island are on average expensive, this place has lower prices. Advised

Cozy place and friendly, attentive staff. The cuisine is very faithful to the generally simple tradition. The breaded tuna with pistachio sauce is excellent. Adequate prices.

Excellent tuna, first-class caponata and perfect cassata. A few meters away from the main street where all the hustle and bustle takes place. Small terrace with very friendly staff. If you like tuna, this is the place for you. I had a huge tuna steak - perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, pink on the inside, top quality - and my friend had tuna balls with pistachio sauce. Priced okay. About €90 for two people - with a large beer, an Aperol spritz, espresso and amaro. We shared the starter and dessert. I was more than full!!! We recommend!

19/05/2024: Fantastic view of the sea and the Zingaro National Park from the dining room, the breakfast terrace and some of the rooms. Family-run hotel for 5 generations with a friendly owner, deliberately designed like a house in which guests can experience Sicily in a bit of a private way. Carpets lie on the marble tiles, beautiful antique furniture made of walnut and rosewood, some with beautiful inlays, silver bowls and candlesticks, pictures, beautiful ceramic tiles in the bathrooms and traditional weaving from dwarf palms give the traveler a glimpse of a Sicily beyond mass tourism. An oasis in Scopello, which has otherwise become faceless due to tourism. The only downer: the restaurant is closed.

31/03/2024: Excellent bread with the possibility of choosing between different leavenings and grains. Wide choice of sweets and sandwiches ready to take away.
14/10/2023: Not sure why this place has 3.7. It’s now 10 days I’ve been in Sicily and I’ve been buying lunch at different panifici. This was probably the best lunch I had. The focaccia con mortadella e pistacchi was incredible, the panino con tonno, pistacchio e pomodori secchi was also sublime. I also had the simple focaccia and let me tell you, it was delicious. Not 3.7. Absolutely recommended.
