Marien Platz In Lecce

Located not far from the historic center of Lecce. We eat very well. The pizza was very good as was the meat served by the waiter with the Gerridon. Even though the atmosphere is always crowded and nice.

Terrible value for money. Five-star restaurant prices are applied, but the dishes are served on broken plates, on tables and chairs that move and are not in balance.

Very beautiful and interesting place that I have known since it just opened so I have seen the various changes over the years, ready to welcome a large audience thanks to the large rooms both on the ground floor and on the upper mezzanine floor. The pizza is excellent, excellent dough, very digestible and stuffed with quality ingredients, although despite myself I had to have it remade because it didn't correspond to my requests, so it arrived as I requested. Large choice of wines and drinks including special beers, quality matured meat and a large variety of cheeses displayed in the fridge display case. The tartare is excellent as are the mixed frittini. I just wanted to clarify: the staff is very kind and friendly, always attentive to customer requests but unfortunately they need to be trained especially when it comes to cutting the meat brought on the trolley, unfortunately the table next to me complained about how the waiter had badly cut the meat they had ordered, the very large bone-in one with the plate next to it to grill it at the moment. The waiter was rather unprepared with a knife that was too large and not sharp enough to ruin the cut of the meat, I was sorry to see him so awkward and above all to hear the criticisms from the next table instead of inviting the poor boy to use a different knife they said something all the colors. For the rest, I still had a very good time, the place is beautiful and absolutely worth it, it would be enough to fix certain things to make it even more top. Fast service, unique location, everything good. Excellent pizza, top puccia ortolana. The grills are also excellent. Everything ok as always. Well done.

Great meat, great beer and good wines. Excellent service. If you are a carnivore you absolutely must go.

Unfortunately the kids are not used to restaurant service (cutlery restoration), but all in all it was a good lunch. All very good.

Good pizzas, nice place but service not up to par. We waited for the pizza first and it arrived after a reminder and the same thing for the dessert. All while people waited outside to come in for dinner. Don't they have an interest in clearing the tables? However they have to be much more careful about bookings. Last Saturday we had to give up due to a forgotten note. A bit unpleasant, don't you think?

Busy vibrant area with shops, restaurants and tourist attractions around the area. As a Londoner I did find Munich very expensive. Trains and trams are a well run and it felt safe and clean but was very busy .
