Historic pub with an atmosphere of times gone by. A place that belongs to my adolescence and that I found almost identical 25 years later. Now equipped with a large outdoor area, the rooms are always full of cheerful people and the consistently excellent service and food make everything truly excellent. The place is informal, the pizzas for 4/5 people are served on large wooden pallets, the excellent and abundant pastas arrive at the table directly in the pan.
Live music as always in the basement room. I returned there for the Wally Gators concert, neighborhood friends and teenage companions. Long live Manhattan.

Always the same style for 30 years now!
Very friendly environment
Friendly staff but also very practical and quick to serve.
VERY GOOD beers
a menu that includes everything, from sandwiches to first courses to meat (and what meat!!!) to pizzas (and what pizzas!)
Very generous rations, if you are not a super glutton, immediately think about sharing a ration.
All very good!

Special environment and service in line with the location. Prices have risen significantly compared to the past which characterized the place due to its generous portions and popular prices. Now only the generous portions remain which do not justify the significant increase in prices (given that there was no investment even in the decoration of the location).
In any case, I recommend it especially for the tennents on tap (but at €6 for an average I expect it in a pub in the city centre).

...said the Bounthy!! Exceptional place, a true legend. The trick is to go when it's full or almost full of people, so as not to smell the stench. Excellent mixed pizzas, very digestible; for us great combination: 4 white cheeses, burrata and sausage and broccoli. Stir-fried gnocchi for 2, spaghetti for 3! Not very good, honestly. Homemade desserts a little dry (preferred tiramisu, even with pistachio, the cakes are large and sometimes stagnate, pistachio not fabulous), Vinchio Vaglio bulk wine, Metro liquorice. SAINT Simon!! Good bread
