It is not a hotel, it is an aparthotel, so do not expect them to make your bed or clean your room every day, I was clear about that before booking.
The building is old, but it seems to be being renovated and it is good. The entrance is not open as I have read in some reviews, they give you a card to enter at any time you want and two keys for the room.
My room was for four, a double bed and a sofa bed, full kitchen with ceramic hob, dishwasher and a small refrigerator, we didn't cook but it has all the kitchenware in case you want to use it…
The room overlooked a patio of lights and we did not hear any noise throughout the stay.
The bathroom has been completely renovated and new, with a hairdryer.
The location was very good, very close to the Plaza del Duomo, central but not in the middle of everything, we went during Easter and there were people everywhere, the train station was a 20 minute walk away, we walked back and forth because of the service. difficult taxi to contact, I'm still waiting for them to answer my WhatsApp and Uber, very expensive, €60 for a 5-minute ride
The correct breakfast, I don't know what people eat for breakfast at home, but it's plenty for me. Coffee, juice, a piece of pastry and a sandwich. We didn't order a sandwich so I can't comment, but the rest was good.
If I returned to Florence I wouldn't mind staying there again.
29/02/2024: We were assisted by a woman at reception who only spoke Italian, which made it difficult for us to understand each other and they do not provide cleaning service. It includes breakfast in the bar next door and the rooms are decent, depending on the room you can have very good views. Acceptable hotel considering the price, comparable with a Spanish 3-star hotel.
