Thank you for this meal at the Heart of Genoa 🤩 Excellent place to eat homemade focaccia and tagliatelle/ravioli. Focaccias made in front of us. Heartwarming welcome ; pleasant and very friendly waitress (who speaks French too! 😃) Reasonable prices. Go there with hesitation!!

una volta la Tortuga era un covo di pirati questo invece è un covo di ottimi piatti. Iniziamo con uno spritz di coro chinato, a seguire con una delle migliori focacce al formaggio di Genova, ottime le tagliatelle cacio e pepe, e la trippa da urlo. Ambiente pulito, personale gentilissimo, prezzi corretti, da provare assolutamente. Per il sabato prenotazione quasi obbligatoria.

We had dinner at this place on a Saturday evening as a group. Like most places in the centre, it has the flaw of not being very spacious inside but in any case the owner, very nice, managed to seat us all even if he had to divide us between 2 tables! Truly space food, the Recco style cheese focaccia is renowned for being one of the best in Genoa and I can confirm it! The second courses are also really delicious and in addition a huge variety of wines and beers in bottles and on tap. A place where it is worth going to have dinner, even if the prices are slightly higher than average!

Siamo capitati in questo locale su suggerimento di due ragazzi genovesi... da sardi è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa trovare nel menù i ravioli del sulcis...che ovviamente non abbiamo preso...per gustare le focacce e i piatti buonissimi che ci ha suggerito una gentilissima cameriera...professionale, sorridente e accudente! Stessa cosa dicasi per il titolare...da S.Antioco vi giungano 5 meritatissime STELLE!

Posto incantevole con personale super. I piatti sono ottimi ed abbondanti e il prezzo è assolutamente commisurato alla qualità. Ci tornerò senz'altro!

04/04/2024: I go here often and it's always really nice. The atmosphere is good, the pizzas are nice and quite big, and I love the tiramisu. Service is also nice and quite fast.
31/03/2024: I've been there twice, so far, and I confirm the super positive experience! The place is a bit chaotic and the thin pizza is generally not my favorite BUT... it's big and the ingredients are so good that it goes further! Icing on the cake: it's good for my blood sugar. I'm diabetic and it's the first time I've eaten a pizza while being able to take half the insulin and not having any spikes in the night! It's wonderful, it fills you up, it's good, super digestible and is good for your blood sugar 😍
