Lo Skianto In Lucca

Price performance ratio is very good. The pizza was really tasty. If you are in Lucca, definitely try it out, it's worth it.

Had lunch outside on a very pleasant day. Across the board this restaurant was good but not fantastic. We had the tortelli Lucchesi (very tasty but a little cold) and the Maiala pizza (very nice pastry but very plain). Menus are accessed by a QR code and you go inside to the counter to order and pay. You are then given a buzzer that goes off when your meal is ready to be collected. There is also a 1,5 euro per person charge added to your bill, which is no big deal but I would rather be told upfront than just finding it later on the bill.

We ate pasta here in the afternoon. Simple ingredients, but perfectly prepared! Pure enjoyment.

We come from Rome and my wife and I decide to quickly visit Lucca, take a walk in the center (inside the walls) and maybe have a bite to eat in a typical restaurant. My wife visits this tavern, practically at the beginning of the course, and we decide to have dinner there, perhaps with a first course and a side dish. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the very kind waitress who explained the various dishes to us in detail. We also know the two owners Piero and Francesca, brother and sister who together with their very nice family manage this truly pleasant place. After a pleasant chat I decide to have some typical tortelli with meat and vegetables obviously homemade which literally made me clean my plate!! Traditional recipe but reworked by the same restaurateur in a perfect way… Also absolutely worth trying are the "popped beans", a simple side dish but always revisited in a "mother's recipe" way. Absolutely logical prices and high quality. If we were to do it again we wouldn't think twice about returning also for the hospitality and kindness of this beautiful family. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Locale con vista sulle mura della citta' , dotato di ampio dehor esterno. Personale efficiente e cortese. Cucina lucchese ottima. Prezzi nella media.

Nice place, small but if the weather permits it has a nice space outside, fast, friendly and with a nice food/price compromise! I would go back
