Lido Paina In Malcesine

03/03/2024: I had lunch here recently, the place is small, beautiful and characteristic. The innkeeper welcomes everyone with great professionalism and friendliness, making you immediately feel welcomed. I recommend the egg with cheese fondue as a really good appetizer. The gorgonzola semifreddo is also particular, truly a surprise. Overall the food is good but the quantities are not abundant, however the effort in highlighting the typical dishes of the area is very noticeable. There is no particular wine list, but you choose from the 5 typical wines of the area, leaving the choice of cellar to the innkeeper. The innkeeper's willingness to answer our curiosities and let us divide a first course into 3 saucers for a small taste was very nice.
