I don't know where to start, wonderful place, fantastic and hospitable owners. Excellent food cooked to perfection. To try and then return whenever you feel like an escape from the chaos of life.

Magnificent place surrounded by nature! Excellent food and service, Luca conveys his passion for catering by offering an updated menu full of 0 km products. I highly recommend, also for the really honest prices. I will definitely go back

My partner and I had lunch at the Macine del Monte Croce after having done some research on companies with kitchens where only high quality and 0 km products are processed; I'd say we found what we were looking for! We were pleasantly surprised by the homemade pasta (incredible!) and by Luca's welcome, really kind and knowledgeable. Absolutely honest prices for what is offered. We hope to return soon!

Posto da sogno immerso nel verde...nel periodo Natalizio le lucine con cui è decorato rendono veramente speciale e romantica l'atmosfera. Cibo perfetto, servizio idem. Forse l'ambiente poteva essere un pochino più caldo, ma nulla che un maglione non possa risolvere. Ci torneremo.

31/03/2024: Today Easter we stopped on the recommendation of a friend of ours to eat at Al Maialino. I have never eaten such a good sandwich. The materials were fresh...the porchetta was out of this world. The managers were very friendly...we closed with them with a very cordial dialogue...two really easy-going and very kind people, you can see that for them work is a religion and a love. Thank you...today we had a truly special Easter "lunch". We will definitely be back with our friends on our next trip to Viareggio.

28/03/2024: Very friendly staff, small but very nice atmosphere, a wedding favor, excellent ice cream, cakes are worth trying.
17/03/2024: Delicious! The gelato here is really nice and we've visited a few times now. The only problem with it is that you leave wanting more of the delicious flavours! Which means that you go home with an extra container of gelato, trying not to eat it on the way home! Portion sizes are good, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommended, and make sure you try the crema di limone. Update (07/2023): unfortunately the last time we visited the portion sizes were a lot smaller than before and there wasn't such a large selection available.
