Molto gentili, il locale è piccolo e gli spazi ristrettissimi, Acciughe e burro andavano bene ma troppe come quantità per una persona, tordelli discreti, cantuccini offerti buoni, Vino casa rosso ok

Very pleasant discovery. An intimate place in the deepest sense of the term, which makes you feel at ease thanks to the informal furnishings, the French music in the background but above all the cordial genuineness of the host who willingly comes out of the kitchen to chat with the guests. Ah, since we're talking about a restaurant, the quality of the raw materials is excellent, the flavors genuine and generally local (with some pleasant surprises) and the portions generous (in the "homemade" sense of the term). Last note, an excellent bottle (two actually) of Bolgheri red recommended by the house at absolutely acceptable prices.

Pici all'aglione piatto migliore assaggiato durante il nostro tra Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Pietrasanta e Viareggio. In un piovoso giorno di fine anno, l'accoglienza di Stefania è stata impeccabile. Un luogo molto accogliente, in cui ci farà molto piacere ritornare

Confortati anche dall'atmosfera di questa cittadina dell'arte, ci siamo ristorati in questo locale delizioso quasi per caso. L'accoglienza è stata subito cordiale. La moglie del proprietario ci ha poi proposto i piatti del giorno con raro coinvolgimento. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo! Tordelli al sugo, lingua in salsa verde e zuppa inglese da ricordare. Ho fatto i complimenti al proprietario permettendomi di suggerire una carta del menu' che rispecchi la bontà e la qualità delle pietanze. Sicuramente da consigliare.

11/02/2024: Unfortunately, I hadn't been back to eat at Luis and David's for a few years, and it was a wonderful rediscovery. The environment is always splendid, intimate and warm, with attention to every detail. The cuisine is amazing and the hospitality is equally amazing. I can't wait to go back already!
29/01/2024: An unconventional restaurant where you can appreciate refined and attentive cuisine which combines flavors that are not typical of the area but which blend well with the Tuscan tradition. The owner Luis knows how to welcome and create a convivial atmosphere without excesses of protagonism and his experience acquired over years of life spent in Paris is found in the flavor of the very French setup that he has reconstructed in his restaurant. The only note is that the cost is a little over the top, although quality and service can allow us to indulge in this aspect........
