Wonderful place for drinks! Super laid-back and friendly atmosphere! Cynar and Aperol Spritz were great and we got some yummy cheeses and piadine as stuzzichini! Will definitely come back! The waitresses and bartenders seemed very happy about their jobs!

we had a lovely time at l'alter. it was pleasantly busy with a hip crowd, so we decided to take a seat. I had a couple delicious campari blood orange cocktails, and we were provided a complimentary board of cheese and cured meats. Alessandro was our charming server who we ended up becoming friends with and sharing a shot of Montenegro with (if his boss is reading this - just kidding). Lorenzo behind the bar provided some friendly recommendations for where else we should visit in Milan. would highly recommend visiting l'alter bar!

Best bar in Milan ever. Friendly and knowledgeable barmen and waiters. Pleasantly crowded for the aperitif and after dinner, for this reason it is important to book. Quality aperitif and delicious drinks. Super recommended!!!

Il migliore aperitivo della zona (e uno dei migliori di Milano). Il locale con il dehor è piccolino ma molto accogliente, i proprietari e i camerieri sempre gentili e disponibili. L’atmosfera è super famigliare e calda. E poi l’aperitivo in sè: drink ottimi sempre serviti con delle piadine gustose home made, pizzette, salumi. Per una mia amica che non mangia carne è stato possibile anche richiedere piadine vegetariane che ci sono state servite senza problemi. E poi il prezzo: in una Milano ormai overpriced penso che l’Alter bar sia l’unico a servire aperitivi buoni e soddisfacenti a meno di 10€ a testa. Io ormai sono un abituè sia in coppia che con gli amici: consigliatissimo!

What a great find. Top bar, v friendly staff, excellent wine and cocktails, with free food/snacks served with drinks. Will definitely revisit when next in Milan

Cosy tiny bar which tends to get crowded in the evening. Super nice staff and drinks come with plenty of nice nibbles!

30/03/2024: I have just been to this wonderful tavern with my family. we were immediately intrigued by the particularity of the place. we were welcomed with kindness and attention. impeccable service, compliments to the chef! idyllic music, sublime atmosphere, a truly relaxing lunch. We sincerely thank the tavern for pampering us!

14/05/2024: Super recommended... Delicious meat, top welcome... We found ourselves by chance for an aperitif and the welcome from Mirco (or Mirko😂) encouraged us to return for dinner... Excellent choice... Very good dinner, splendid, quiet place... Mirco (or Mirko) and Clarence top of the range 💪.. I'm just saying that my partner said :"some Saturdays we go up from Ancona to eat here" ❤️
13/05/2024: Seems like in Italy there’s always a complimentary tapa and a basket of breads served before the meal. I got one small crunchy toast with minced meat on top, it’s really tasty. A skipped the started and had the side dishes apulian caponatina, it’s a good portion of side dishes. And for the main course I had the strip beef, the portion is large, however I expected it to be more like a sliced steak, which was ok. I asked for a glass of red wine which in the end looks more like two glasses as they served with a jar. Then they treated me three different kinds of drinks after meals, I’m very flattered and thankful for it:) cheers for Milano ❤️ All in all, the food is better than average, the staffs are very friendly, especially one guy from the butcher stand was very cheerful and attentive. I appreciated that he could speak English well too. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, recommended for friends gathering !
