We only stopped for a couple of quick spritzes before the ferry but the place seemed very genuine to me. They didn't take anything to eat but they brought us a generous portion of their own taralli which accompanied our aperitif. Very nice place.

Portati dal caso, abbiamo scoperto un piccolo ristorante accogliente e particolare. Pranzo davvero piacevole, per la cura e qualità del cibo e per l'attenzione nel servizio. Il proprietario ci ha guidati attraverso le ricette della tradizione con garbo e simpatia.

A characteristic place in the heart of Venice Livorno. The owner, very welcoming, recommended traditional Livorno dishes, some with twists; both the starter and the first courses were excellent, prepared with attention to the raw materials and presented well. The cacciucco and paranza are also very good. I highly recommend the dessert: cake with exquisite freshly prepared cream. We felt pampered, even the price was adequate for what we ordered. Advised!

04/10/2023: It is a typical and family restaurant, it makes you feel at home. I didn't eat pizza, but their typical cuisine. I enjoyed the tagliolini and seafood ravioli, a delicacy. So do the appetizers.
01/10/2023: Today we stop at the LA CONCHIGLIA restaurant in Castiglioncello. Located in the central Via Fucini where the most famous shops in the town are located. The service is friendly but a little slow. Typical Livorno cuisine with excellent fish dishes. The freshness of the raw material brings out the flavors making them tasty and tasty. Prices in line with the quality.

Ristorante Pizzeria Zephir

01/09/2023: A surprise: excellent food, as is rare in Castiglioncello, attentive, friendly and timely service. Don't miss the octopus and the tuna steak... delicious. We stayed there 3 times in 15 days and the excellent impression was always confirmed. The menus and details of the equipment are also well looked after, which is not always found in beach restaurants. Super welcome with a delicious hot and freshly made schiaccino cut into strips.
27/08/2023: We took 3 pizzas and a first course. All good, one flaw: the wait! The first double arrived half an hour after ordering and the pizzas, after they took away the first course's plate (about 50 minutes). The waitresses were super friendly but the preparation of the dishes, in my opinion, was too slow.... perfect location (inside the Marradi pine forest with terrace overlooking the sea)
