The initial impression is not the best, because it is located near the state road and next to the railway. Instead, when you come out of the tunnel that allows you to cross the road you find yourself in a very characteristic and evocative environment, you eat directly on the sea.
The strong point is the location, this stilt house on the sea with a splendid view
The food is good and the quality/price ratio is normal.
The waiters are also very "special", friendly and characteristic too, with personalized t-shirts for each member of the staff.
It is also essential to follow the signs for private parking otherwise it is impossible to reach the restaurant

Pleasant evening spent with friends at Vecchia Pesca, a characteristic local restaurant built on a stilt house once used for fishing close to the sea. To reach it you need to park on the opposite side of the road where the car park is located and cross the road and railway underpass. From the restaurant you can enjoy the view of San Ciriaco and the Gulf of Ancona. Fish menu with characteristic dishes. We tried the gnocchi with fresh tuna with olives and the chitarrine with sea urchin pulp, which thoroughly satisfied us. The same goes for the fried and grilled dishes ordered as a second course which were at their best accompanied by the house wine (Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi). Followed by semifreddo desserts and tiramisu. The dining room staff showed professionalism, kindness and friendliness. Fair price. Recommended place to enjoy a unique atmosphere in close contact with the sea.

A period restaurant, located on a platform overlooking the sea. Very attentive, kind and welcoming staff. Minimal waiting time for dishes. Good, fresh food. Also good house wine and desserts. Cost plus minus €40 per person. Worthwhile, we will return again.

Truly characteristic and particular place....on stilts. The club's maxim, which seems to be attributable to the owner, reflects the thought of the relationship between the owner and the sea: "Only music is equal to the sea". Despite the problems of the 2015 storms in the Ancona area, the owner was not discouraged and rebuilt his place, which has an enviable position, for those who appreciate it.
Excellent appetizers (hot and cold) and grilled fish dipped in that characteristic grain of bread and oil of the grills of the past (just a non-mercanal note on the sole whose meat was a little tasteless).
Excellent wine on tap (Verdicchio) and microfiltered water.
I recommend the sour cherry wine sorbet (characteristic Marche wine made from sour cherries called sour cherries, similar to black cherries but sweeter, see photo of the sorbet). Very friendly, characteristic and always available staff.
Total €110.00 for two.
Only note, for those with disabilities and need assistance with walking,
precise NOT due to the responsibility or will of the restaurant owner,
but there are architectural barriers that prevent you from reaching the restaurant; it must be taken into account.
For the rest I absolutely recommend it and we will return hopefully soon to taste all the remaining dishes! Bon appetit to everyone at La Vecchia Pesca!.

Lunch on a Saturday in April; Stunning location, a stilt house on the sea but what makes this restaurant unique (beyond the location) is the Maitre d', unique, a person who knows how to do his job and knows how to entertain the customer, last thing but the most important excellent food I recommend the barbecue is a spectacle but also the excellent first courses.
Good value for money, because good fish is fresh, you pay for it!
Congratulations, we will be more than happy to return.

Questo ristorante e' molto caratteristico, il locale e' carino ed e' direttamente sul mare. Il menù e' abbastanza ampio e devo dire che si mangia discretamente. Purtroppo un paio di note stonate sono il costo dell'antipasto di mare , 24 euro, francamente e' troppo vista la quantità cosi' modesta di cibo che viene servita ed il coperto , 3 euro a persona. Per dare un'idea delle altre pietanze vi posso dire che sui primi siamo fra i 15 ed i 16 euro , la grigiala 20.
