You eat well, and that's the most important thing, in a "trattoria," even when the name alone remains a trattoria, and it dresses up as a restaurant. Therefore, for both goodwill and courtesy, 4 stars. Also for the professionalism of those serving, but... let's take things in order. We're in Tèsero, in the Lago area, where they're building a stadium for the next Olympics; it's all under construction, and getting there isn't easy. We arrive on a Saturday evening, the last available table. The welcome is friendly, but we quickly realize they're busy. The formula is the increasingly common one: one person takes orders, a staff member brings the dishes, and someone else simply takes them away. For it to work, it requires perfect organization. And a kitchen that works in harmony. Instead, too many orders for a single dish that requires grilling, and the grill can't handle it, and everything falls apart. But, at least at our table, absolutely everything: they don't remember what we ordered, nor what's already arrived, much less what we're expecting for the main courses. Move over. But if you want to maintain these price levels here in the area, you also have to know how to manage your dining room when it's full. Prices aren't high, but they're significant, especially if you order fish dishes, which are excellent. And a little more effort could be put into the wine list, which I don't even know if it's there because they didn't give it to me, but it could do with some effort. But the quality is good... and we encourage friendliness. However, I don't think I'll be back.

I expected more... nothing special..

We had dinner last night here at the Trattoria. I'm celiac, so I had the gluten-free pizza and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the regular dough pizza and it was delicious. And the ricotta cake was also fantastic. Really, we'll definitely be back.

The food was fresh and delicious! The service was friendly and prompt! It was packed on a Monday night (locals, which is a good sign for me anyway), and we were lucky enough to get a spot for two! We'll definitely be back!

Nice place with lot of meat and fish options and with gluten free menu and pizza. For gluten free pizza it is required to call them in advance and let them know as they need to turn on the dedicated oven.

The gluten-free pizza is excellent, and I particularly appreciated the dedicated gluten-free menu with so many options—a paradise for celiacs!
