La Rambla In Morimondo

Discovered it by accident but I really liked it. I complimented the owner and I also write it here. Delicious octopus with chickpea hummus. The octopus melts in your mouth! The service is also good

A beautiful terrace overlooking the square of a simple but enchanting village less than 30 minutes west-south/west of Milan. Although we had to wait a bit to get the menu when we sat down, the welcome was very professional, making the experience very pleasant. The selection of wine by the glass was limited, while among the appetizers the pata negra croquette did not convince us as the flavor of the ham was covered by that of the sauce. The other starters were good. The risotto with sausage and crispy leek was delicious, although the portion could have been more generous. The homemade tortelli were excellent, as was the octopus; the only flaw was finding a clove of garlic in the hummus sauce that accompanied it. Overall, a great experience to recommend. I can't judge the interior of the restaurant, but the terrace definitely deserves a mention, especially for families during the spring season.

We came for dinner this evening. The restaurant is right in front of Morimondo Abbey. We were welcomed very warmly. The staff very welcoming. The food (we took a platter, pata negra croquetas, Angus entrecote with potatoes) was all superb. We found our restaurant outside Milan. We will definitely be back to try other delicacies!!

The cooking of the meat, the flavor of the grilled cooking made me think for a long time about the excellent experience in this restaurant located in a delightful context, that of the town of Morimondo. If there had been a small welcome entree there would have been a fifth star. When I return I have to remember to order the tartare on the bone with marrow. The wine selection is good

Everything perfect, delicious dishes, family-friendly environment

Both the ready-made meat and fish dishes are excellent. The pappardelle with duck sauce and the gnocchi with clams were really delicious. Superlative millefeuille.

I organized a lunch with colleagues, about thirty of them, and we had a great time. The menu is excellent with large quantities of starters, a risotto with mushrooms and a truly tasty grill. For dessert, the millefeuille alone is worth the trip. The staff but above all the owner is really helpful and very kind. The environment is refined and elegant, in a truly suggestive position. The price is absolutely correct in relation to the menu. I recommend it and we will definitely return.

Meat-based menu: all dishes were excellent, well balanced and in the right quantities. Nothing left to chance... even in the traditionally simplest dishes. I would go back immediately! Also perfect service and atmosphere. Nice and clean place, punctual service and welcoming staff. Excellent location.

I won't go into details: EVERYTHING EXCELLENT, MUST TRY IT! I highly recommend it!

after having tried practically all the restaurants in Morimondo this remains the best overall. Meanwhile, the location is wonderful, right in front of the abbey. The cuisine is mainly meat-based. We took a grilled cockerel and a cut of pork, all of excellent quality. Very good house wine. mixed vegetables, homemade millefeuille. more than honest account. impeccable service. Of course it was a lunch during the week and it wasn't full on weekends, but the impression is that from that point of view too they are well organised. It will be our fixed stop every time we return to Morimondo.
