Excellent restaurant. Patricia was a wonderful, kind ,attentive hostess and the chef Walter as good as his meals. A beautiful experience.

We had postponed it several times, influenced by very conflicting rumors from friends who had already tried the restaurant. A couple of weeks ago we made up our minds and booked.
The structure is very beautiful overall, even if not well maintained.
Entering the internal cloister of the villa, climbing the stairs from the parking lot, a few steps from the restaurant door you can smell a terrible smell of cat pee.
The room is very large and, although perhaps a little bare, furnished in a sober way.
The food was not as I expected, however well cooked and all in all the dishes were good, as you eat in many places in the area.
A good choice of local wines.
So why only 3 stars?
The service was very approximate, both waiters (the boy and the lady) immediately addressed us in informal terms, the wine (kept upright, not lying down, inside a display case exposed to the light) was opened while the waiter had his back turned to an empty table and then it was brought to us; my daughter's dish was taken without asking if she had finished.
At the beginning of the meal they brought us bread: small sandwiches made with different flours and ingredients.
We started tasting it while we were waiting for our orders. Later, while eating the second courses, we asked for bread and they brought us slices of bread, ordinary and not even fragrant.
At the end of dinner the chef went to greet and thank two tables, while he completely ignored ours and the one next to us.
These things would have no weight in a restaurant, but in a place that "sells itself" as luxury, it's not good and penalizes a lot.
Only the location doesn't justify the almost €200 we spent.
I don't think we will return. Sin.

Io e mia moglie Elena siamo ritornati per la seconda volta presso La Locanda Delle Scuderie. Anche questa volta lo CHEF WALTER non ha disilluso le nostre aspettative. La sua cucina ed il suo staff hanno saputo creare un'atmosfera romantica ed unica in occasione dei nostri rispettivi compleanni. La locanda ti avvolge con la sua storica atmosfera e nel contempo che ci si appresta a gustare ottimi piatti può capitare di essere trasportati con l'immaginazione a ritroso nel tempo, tutto ciò che ti circonda racconta storie di vita passata con una grande energia positiva del presente. Grazie WALTER per averci deliziato con la tua arte in cucina, un ringraziamento particolare poi per averci dedicato tempo per parlare con noi. Abbiamo notevolmente apprezzato i Vostri piatti, la qualità della cantina ma soprattutto la Vostra volontà nell'intraprendere una professione fatta con il cuore, con la testa e con le mani. I went with my mother to a place with a nice story. Very welcoming. Very friendly staff, helpful and answer every question on the spot.
nothing to say about the food, excellent! quality-price in perfect agreement (loved it!) . (I recommend it to families and friends)

Suggestive, intimate and carefully curated environment. Located in a context that smacks of history, made contemporary by a careful renovation that respects its nature, as well as the selection of culinary proposals, savoring the dishes on the menu, one perceives the respect for the raw materials and the constant search for their exaltation.
