From the outside it looked like a town bar and we almost didn't go in. Once inside, we are greeted by a small and very cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace and quiet music. The food is the best of what we ate during our stay. Apart from the fact that the knuckle was very tasty, I was surprised by the visual care of the dishes and the flavor of the accessories such as French fries or grilled vegetables. Everything incredible.

Mi sono recata in questo ristorante a pranzo un sabato di gennaio . Tutto perfetto i primi,i secondi e i dolci fatta in casa dalla moglie.Tutti molto gentili specialmente il cuoco /marito che è venuto al tavolo per chiederci se tutto era buono.Da ritornarci e consigliare

In the heart of Tuscany between Vada and Volterra there is a place called Querceto. Despite the beauty of the place, the Locanda del Sole takes center stage. The visit would be worth the effort just for this delightful refuge for refreshment. Tuscany and Sicily create a perfect mix. Only after we thought we had reached the peak were we surprised by one of the best cannolis of our lives.

Ottima cena estiva all'aperto, atmosfera piacevole e rilassante, clima perfetto e cibo abbondante e ben cucinato. Cameriere simpatico ! Complimenti a Francesco e Carmen, continuate così, a presto !

An enchanting place, Spectacular location immersed in the Mediterranean countryside from where you can admire a breathtaking view. Attention to detail, good wine and good food.

16/04/2024: In this place we had the platter of the day and a plate of cheese tasting accompanied by jams and honey, all of excellent quality and absolutely delicious. The dishes are cheap and plentiful, the wine meets the best expectations. Excellent service, helpful and professional waiter. The creamy chocolate liqueur is also absolutely recommended
10/04/2024: Nice shot - aperitif place with very talkative and friendly staff visited often by local young people (but not only :) Great stop at the evening - night city crawling.

06/04/2024: Very beautiful and evocative environment, there is a beautiful window and in summer the environment outside certainly makes it. The waiters were very kind right from the start. We chose the seafood tasting in order to taste multiple courses. All the dishes were interesting and well executed, a couple of critical points regarding the cooking of the octopus (chewy, but very well roasted) and the bisque (it didn't taste good, unfortunately it ruined the whole dish) The dessert wasn't bad but the caramel was a little too forward and the ice cream didn't taste like much, but its function in the end was to give freshness and this it did. A positive note is the wine list, very extensive and with several important choices. All in all a wonderful experience, I felt very sorry for a waitress who unfortunately had no voice that evening, so she couldn't explain the dishes (in my opinion they could have sent someone else) It's worth coming!
