Yesterday my friends and I had lunch in this historic trattoria, something rare to find in Milan now. Tasty dishes such as pasta and beans and panzerotto as a delicious appetizer. Then I tasted the grilled scamorza and the excellent quality horse sausage. For the second course I ordered the ribeye which I ate with gusto and I really liked the fruity white wine Calaluna, my friends had some real red and then also the house one which they thought was pleasant. The young waiter was very helpful and kind as were the owners. What can I say, we will be back

In the middle of Milan, between tourist attractions and fast food restaurants, I found this gem of Puglia food. A place that takes you back in time, when restaurants were authentic. Grill, good wine, cheeses, sausages... and above all spectacular horse meat. A true treasure that I hope lasts a long time, as they already have.

Excellent welcome and service! With the orecchiette with turnip tops we were on the safe side and the lamb was also very good. The thing that surprised me, however, was the chocolate salami! Unique!

I bet the food with wine will be better, please dont eat horse meat and drink coke like me 😁😁 I love the atmosphere and restaurant’s decoration. Furthermore the chef and the waiter are so nice and kind 5/5 for the waiter cute smile 😄

30/07/2024: A welcoming and convivial restaurant. The menu, typical of a trattoria, offers simple and traditional Apulian dishes. The appetizer counter to choose from is interesting. Good meat and food as a whole. Average cost.

Osteria Tipica Pugliese

15/07/2024: I went there with a group of friends. When ordering we pointed out that there were two vegetarians at the table, to which we were told that most of the dishes were vegetarian. However, after the appetizers arrived (beans, mozzarella, giardiniera, etc.), the parmigiana and baked pasta were brought, both containing meat, without offering us an alternative. The rest of the dishes were very good so too bad I didn't eat the rest. As an advice, I would say to bring single portions as options for these dishes (also because my relatives from Puglia make parmigiana without meat by default)
