Ideally located between the Great Saint Bernard tunnel and Aosta, the White Cross has not changed over the years. I have enjoyed stopping there for over 30 years. The menu is varied and everyone will undoubtedly find something to please them. And I’m not talking about the wine list which presents a very nice selection of local and Italian wines. The staff is very friendly and professional. For our part, we had great pleasure tasting the selection of cheeses from the Aosta Valley as a starter accompanied by Bosse raw ham (a marvel!), followed by a magnificent Chateaubriand. We will undoubtedly stop there during our next visit to Aosta! Many thanks to Alexis for her excellent service!

Abbiamo mangiato la carne con le verdure grigliate. Ottima unica cosa sul menù la pietanza è indicata per due persone ma non ben specificato che il prezzo invece è a persona

Posto molto bello, ristorante tipico. Personale cortese e molto professionale. Cibo di qualità con giusta scelta senza esagerazioni. Griglia scenica al centro del locale , le grigliate cotte davvero bene. Gentilezza e cortesia al giusto prezzo. Consigliato perché davvero bravi.

Mi dispiace che questo posto non abbia più nulla della cucina tradizionale valdostana e non solo, i piatti rivisitati non hanno gusto e qualità. Il tagliere era l'unica cosa buona. Peccato xchè i prezzi sono comunque piuttosto alti! 2 antipasti, 3 primi, 1 secondo, 1 contorno e due dolci con una bottiglia di vino ( euro 35) per un totale di 175 euro. In 3 persone sono 60 euro a testa, circa...non li vale!!!!!

04/12/2023: With an easy walk you can reach this beautiful refuge from which you can enjoy a wonderful view. Unfortunately I didn't have lunch but only had breakfast, very clean and comfortable place, very kind staff. Just below the refuge there is a mountain pasture where you can buy some truly spectacular fontina cheese

21/04/2024: We stopped in the afternoon after a snowshoeing trip, we ordered 2 beers and they brought us, without having asked, a nice platter with cheese and ham, really good. The girl is very kind and the price is more than honest, I recommend it 🤩
